| Large Water Problem |
| Fairport fire fighters responded for the report of a basement full of water. The house was vacant and the heat had been turned off. Three separate breaks in the water pipes were found, causing the basement to have over six feet of water in it. Fire fighters used three large volume pumps to remove the water. Fairport Electric and RG&E were called in to shutoff the utilities as well as the Water Authority to turn off the water. Fire fighters were on scene for over three hours. |
